Reporting to the Director, E-Commerce and Digital Marketing, the CRM and Marketing Analyst provides the Marketing, Merchandising and Store Operations departments with integrated customer database information, through statistical analysis and business integration of available data and analysis, and is the key contributor in converting data and information into business insights that will drive incremental traffic and sales, resulting in incremental margins and profits.
To do so, the CRM and Marketing Analyst will be expected to…
Manages the ongoing customer data hygiene and append processes
Manages customer segmentation and audience lists for targeted marketing campaigns, including email, social media and other digital channels, as well as direct mail and in-store events
Determine target audiences in order to devise effective, omnichannel campaigns
Prepares and maintains individual campaign data and analysis for direct mail and other integrated multi-channel communications, including, but not limited to: daily marketing campaign results, monthly campaigns and annual baseline results reporting, executive summaries of key findings
Recommends marketing campaigns based on database analysis, promotional results (including UPC tracking and customer purchase patterns), evaluates program liabilities and overall performance
Working with the Manager, Digital Communications, builds use cases to support lead generation strategies, coordinating with stores and digital assets to build customer database
Segments lists based on behaviours, such as past email engagement, website interactions and purchasing behaviour (e.g. cart abandonment, site page visits, past purchases in specific product categories, etc.)
Manages trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize sales
Measures results and optimizes the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers
Analyzes customer journey, providing key insights and creating relevant customer personas
Supports non-marketing and special investigative analytical efforts or reporting for associates in sales, merchandising, credit, customer service and other relevant departments to help them make more effective decisions
Performs user acceptance testing in relation to ERP implementation
Supports implementation of customer data platform and marketing automation software, setting up key metrics and workflows
Our ideal candidate has…
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer or Data Science, Math, BI or any quantitative degree
2-4 years’ experience in CRM, customer analysis and segmentation
1-2 years’ experience managing email lifecycle deployment/operations
Experience in retail or fashion retail (an asset)
Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as sender score, deliverability, and sender reputation
Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data
Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and Magento (an asset)
Excellent analytical and reporting skills
Strong strategic skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (reporting)
Proficient in statistical software such as Macro Excel or RStudio
Bilingual: French and English (spoken/written)
